    Hello everyone I'm John.

I have just started atkins and finish induction in 2 days (or is that finish **** fortnight in two days??)

I nearly gave up after a week because I thought I would die if I carried on but unless the living dead can type I made it through.

I was on a diet before atkins (Low fat low cal) and it took me 4 months to lose 20 lbs...I decided to go atkins when I realised I had at least another year left to be on a diet.

My current weight is now 208 lbs and I've lost more weight in the last two weeks than I would have lost in over a month on my old diet.

I have also noticed my 46 inch waste shrink to 44 inches and my collar size go from 17.5 to 17.

I also am glad to say my ugly man boobs are shrinking by the day!!!

If any of you ladies out there dont know what a man boob is count yourselves lucky.

My exercise of choice is city hill walking (yes its possible in a city) and My ebergy levels have been increasing steadily.

Anyhow I better stop writing now because I'm probably the only one who'll bother to read this all the way through anyhow....ta ta for now.

Great job on your induction. The more you exercise, the faster the fat will go. Keep up the good work!

Hi BBJohn. Glad you've decided to join us. I've also done a lot of hill walking - and it definitely tones up the hips and thighs.

Glad you are seeing progress already, if you think that is encouraging, wait until you take your measurements regularly and see how much you've shrunk. Best wishes to you....Remember...read DANDR, drink water, exercise, take supplements and come here often to share your success with us. We care and want to be a part of your adventure!!!
