I turned 39 on Feb. 10 and I've decided to give Atkins another try. I lost 40 lbs in 2004 and got off track, gained it all back and probably a few more to go with it. Nothing else has really be as easy as Atkins to me. I don't know what took me so long to get back on it.
So my goals are: 1) Get over this HATE of exercise and get back into my walking and increase things from there.
2) Lose at least 30-40 pounds before we move to Hawaii this summer. I want to have a comfortable flight at least in the seat. My mind being comfortable during the flight is a WHOLE other issue!
3) I would like to be able to lose at least 100 pounds by my 40th birthday 2/10/07. I think with losing 8 to 10 pounds a month, 100 is very doable. I just have to break it up and make sure I hit my 8 pounds a month goal. And the only way I'm going to be able to do that is to conquer goal number one.
