Hi, my name is Peggy. I am a SAHM. Married and have 3 children. I was at my heaviest before even getting pregnant and you can only imagine the impact my pregnancy had on me. My son will be a year old this Friday and I am just about to my pre-pregnancy weight, which is still not where I want to be. I need to loss at least 35 lbs. So I finally decided to give the Atkins diet a try. I started over a week ago and it is going well so far. But if any seasoned ladies or gentleman could give me a few pointers or helpful hits on how to make this change of lifestyle stick, please help.

HI mom2-3 and welcome to ADBB and Atkins!
Glad to hear your first week is going smoothly! So, do you have the book (Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution)? If not, you'll want to pick on up and have it handy!
Other tips? Exercise, drink lot's of water, think of Atkins as a lifestyle change not a diet, read the book! Oh, and like ttdriver said...post often!
If you haven't already, check out the 14 Day Induction forum and OWL (Ongoing Weight Loss) forums - there's great information there and people ready to offer you support!
