Hi, my name is Bub (Mark), and am in my 1st week of the Atkin's diet. I did it a few years ago, had some success, then lost my will to stay on it. I was at 253 lbs a week ago, and on just the 4th day had lost 5 lbs. Amazing. My goal weight will be 200 lbs, and hope to stay between 200-205. I am not too hung up on my weight, as we all know it's the body fat percentage that is more of a true idea of fatness. It would be nice to buy an ole fashion pair of Levi 501's. With my current 40 inch waist, the legs look like stove-pipes.LOL. A 34 or 36 inch waist is where I am heading.I am somewhat of a power lifter, and lift weights 3 times a week, so should look like a Greek God at 200 lbs. Tee Hee. I sure as **** hope so. Oh well, thanks for this site. I am enjoying it and glad to have joined up.Have a great day. Bub

Welcome Bub.
Why not sign up for the men's forum?Atkins didn't say 'Calories don't count',
