Hello -
Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm currently in OWL, as I had started induction at the end of January. However, my loss has been pretty slow this time around, probably for a couple of reasons. One is that this is my 3rd time restarting Atkins, and I think I remember reading somewhere that it's harder to lose the weight on subsequent attempts to restart this WOE. Secondly, I've taken up running since last fall and have been reluctant to let go of some of my habits (drinking watered down Powerade before my runs - 1/2 of small bottle w/ equal amount of water; also pre- and post-run fare). I've done a couple of 5Ks and am going to run a 10K next week. The 10K is my first race since restarting Atkins, so it will be interesting to see how it turns out. Any tips for how to change eating habits in regards to training/running would be welcome.
I guess I should have really posted this in the excercise forum, but I wanted to at least introduce myself. From reading the posts this looks like a great support group!
