  • Second Time Around

    Well here I am again. Lost 35# on Atkins in 2003 (Went from 192 to 157 - never made goal weight of 150), and kept 33# off for almost three years, until Dec., 2005. I am now 170# and need to finish what I started 3 years ago. Currently I am on day 4 of a CLEAN induction. All inches have been measured. Any words of wisdom other than "burn the scale"? I'm a little nervous there was no induction flu or headaches, because it was HORRIBLE the 1st time around, but just a mild headache the first 3 days this time. Good luck to all!

    I and welcome back! The only words of wisdom I can say is dust off your DANDR and do it by the book! Drink your water, take your supplements and most importantly exercise. Sounds like you're off to a great start by doing it clean. Good for you!

      Welcome Back!!Dont worry about less induction flu, i too had less of an induction flu second time around, don't know why. Maybe what you were eating before you started wasn't as bad as what you were eating before you started last time! anyways, just be thankful! You'll do great!

        3. Up your exercise to include streatching, cardio - intervals and weight lifting.
        4. Start a journal or start two journals.

          Welcome back!!! You will make it to goal this time, and I can't wait to see the after pic! Please keep us posted on your progress.

              Thanks all for your responses. I have exercised every day so far. Usually 30 min. cardio every other day and 30 min. of cardio and weight lifting M,W,F. No need to dust of DANDR - already read through it again. It's amazing how I reach for that when I'm down or need a push. Had my 2 eggs and 2 strips of bacon today & alraedy 30 oz. of water by 8:00am. All revd up for day 5!!! I've also measured every inch of me because I'm one of those scale junkies & know it's not going to move like I hope. Good luck to all and thanks for the replys.....it really "boosts" you mentally!
