    Hi there my name is Heather and this is my 4th day on induction. I am not in ketosis I checked. My mom started they same day and she lost 10 pounds and I gained 1 pound.........I am already getting ready to stop and try something else but I know this works, but why not on me?

    HI HEATHER!! Don't give up yet! Get the Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution (DANDR) 2002 edition......stay off the scales and MEASURE, MEASURE, MEASURE.....exercise wouldn't hurt either

    send your menu to the "review my menu" forum.....they may see something that may be stopping you.......

    you didn't gain weight overnight, you will not lose it overnight either!

      Hi and welcome. How do you know you're not in ketosis? If you're relying on the strips, don't! If you're following induction by the book, you will be. Maybe you could post your menu's in the 'review my menu' forum. Also, if you're using low carb products like shakes and bars, don't. They're known to hinder weight loss in many people. You can do this and we're here to help!

          What did you eat yesterday Heather, you might want to try posting your meals in fitday and see what your stats are. Let the experts look at them and they might see whats going on also.

              Go to fitday.com and get a free account. There is a sticky that moochiecat posted in the Induction forum that will tell you all you need to know. Please try fitday for at least a week, I bet you will love it! I use it everyday, every single bite I take is logged into fitday. Oh, and welcome to ADBB!!
              What would we do without it?
