Hi all! I'm just starting today, and feeling great about it! I have not read the book yet, waiting for it to get here (and it's taking too long in my mind!) I have gone low-carb before, just not on atkins. I lost 20lbs in a month then, but went off the low carb when I found out I was pregnant.
I'm only 24 and have had 4 children. My oldest is 5 and youngest is 2mths. We have 5 children in the house ranging from 8-2mths. I was 125 pre-pregnancies and I topped the scale during my last preganacy at 205. I am now 189 and would like to get down to 130. My husband is doing this with me, as he wants to lose as well. We both are striving to be healthy. I'm hoping joining this board will hold me accountable, as I tend to cheat if someone isn't watching me. I knew I was bad now though, as right after pregnancy I could fit into my old pants and now they are simply too tight! I don't want to feel like this anymore. I have issues with snacking and not having time to eat. When I finnaly do eat, it's just whatever I can find quickly. (Usually pasta!) Let's hope this new way of life for me is something I can handle! Thanks!
