    hey yall

    my name is niki. i broke my foot, so i'm going to be sitting on my butt for the next 8 weeks, so i decided to give this atkins thing a shot to ward off the insuing pounds...i hope it works, and i hope my will power holds up. hopefully this site will help me keep on track

    Ughh, sorry about your foot. Welcome aboard. There's lots of great information to be found here. Please check out all the 'stickies' and feel free to ask lots of questions. Here's to your success.

        Welcome to the board!

        Bummer on the broken foot! Since exercise is number one on the list of must do's with Atkins, I'm guessing you'll be doing the one-two-three lift the computer mouse and remote control on the tv. lol. However, I'm sure you'll see there are a lot of physical things you can do with working on your upper body. Anyways...lol...just a thought.

          So sorry to hear about your foot. We all join the ADBB and start this new WOE hoping it works. Well, take a look at the before/after photos, Loser's Lounge success stories and the most memorable post stories. You'll see that this DOES work. I started Atkins in March 2003 and I've never been happier.

              Do isometric exercises and free weight work for your upper body and eat all the yummy food on this Way of Eating!!! Sorry about your foot, but I'm glad it brought you to this Board!
