    Hello everyone. Well - I just made what feels like a huge commitment: I signed up to get atkins at home meals delivered starting next friday!

    This will be my 3rd or 4th try at induction, but I hope with the added support of pre-cooked meals I will be more successfull.

    So a little bit about me and my health goals: In college (class of 1999) I was on a varsity light weight athletic team. My competition weight was 155 lbs. I recently weighed myself and I am now up around 320! Yikes, thats almost double my weight in less than a decade.

    I used to windsurf... I would love to be fit enough to do that again. Also I am interested in high performance sailing.. Most of the boats that I have seen are geared for a max weight of about 190lbs...

    Anyway - I realize that this is a process, but hopefully I can drop a few pounds before this summer, and get down to my target weight in a reasonable time.

    If people could send me info about motivational tools - the sig stuff I see on this board.. whatever.. that would be most excellent.

    Good luck to you! You seem to have enough reasons as to why you should do this and do this right. Keep thinking of your goals, and you'll get there in no time
