I started Atkins this week. It has been easy so far, as it is Holy Week and my hubby is a Pastor, so he really hasn't been home for meals. Hope after Sunday I can keep it up. I always feel like he needs to eat and then I eat with him. He loves bread, etc. However, he is also diabetic, so hoping I can get him to go on this with me. I think it would be great for him, too.
I have done Atkins before, about two years ago, and lost a significant amount of weight. Kept it off for a year and then started packing it back on. My clothes don't fit and I am disgusted with myself. So happy to have found this site.

Welcome Sistah!!! If you can make it through the first week then the rest should be a piece of cake..ok not a good choice of words But you know what I mean

I found just preparing wonderful food made it so my husband never knew what hit him

the man lost 20lbs with out even really knowing he was on a "diet"

he was so excited when I quit buying "lite" sour cream he never complained about a thing!!!

We're happy you found us too! Welcome to ADBB -- pretty soon you'll be feeling healthy and confident again. I understand how hard it is eating healthy when you live with a carb-eater. Hopefully he'll jump on the wagon with you when he sees all the yummy, colorful food you get to eat.
