Hi BellaCarol and welcome to ADBB!

Well, my advise is the same regardless of the amount of weight to lose. Read the book, the whole book, follow the rules, eat whole foods, stay away from all junk food (even if they say low carb), drink your water, exercise and for support, find a forum or three you like and visit often!

    See you around the board.

There's no way to predict how quickly you'll lose, everybody is different...but a good clean Induction will be a great start on getting rid of the 10.

          Welcome!

Everyone's body is different, and how fast you lose will depend on many things.

Sheshy couldn't have said it better!

We're glad to have you, you couldn't hope for a better or more helpful bunch of people than here at ADBB.

I did Extended Induction from 1/3 to 5/9 (2006) and lost 55 pounds, so I know I can do it again!

Welcome BellaCarol! Besides losing your 10 lbs. you are going to feel totally different with more energy and learn how to lead a really healthy lifestyle. The best advice I can give you is read the book, and follow Dr. Atkins plan to a tee. You'll see that weight come off in no time and learn how to treat your body right! Hope to be seeing you around!

              Welcome to the boards, Bella!

My advice to go to the Atkin's FAQ forum and get yourself familiar with all the benefits Atkins has to offer.ADBB will certainly be here for support and motivation. I became addicted to it right away and it has helped me to stay focused.

              Good luck!
