    ohhhh Biscuit, you would not believe how I scrutinize labels. I am so, so careful. I'm trying so hard. Read Saty's response and the "fat fast". Sounds promising. I think there is some room for correction in my diet. I think I am going to have to give up my one cup of tea, per day. May have to eat a little more fat and less protein. I'm going to have to sit down and rewrite all of the foods I need...and go shopping...again. I went to the store and bought a freezer full of meat, when I now think I need more fat. Have to decide what foods that is going to consist of. I think I have every book Dr. A wrote, so it shouldn't be too hard to find out all of the different fat foods he suggests. I'm sure I read it in that list of induction foods, but all of it didn't stick upstairs. I guess I'll have to go through the book a third time .

      try that hamburger pie, some call it whooshie pie, basically two huge patties with some stuff in between....many people seem to get a good reaction to that dish....the hamburger will have plenty of fat in it

        Biscuit, I LUVVVVV hamburger patties. I use the ground sirloin patties, with Kraft spicy mayonnaise on the side. I "slice and dip". I also have a slice of hard, sharp cheddar cheese with it. Mmmmmmmmm . Isn't it wonderous that in past times, I would be going ga-ga at the thought of glazed donuts? Now it's hamburger patties and spicy mayonnaise. Think I may switch from ground sirloin to the regular fatty beef burgers. Have to try that hamburger pie. Thanks.

        Yep, that diet soda will get ya. I found that out on my first Atkins journey. I gave it up and started drinking water (for the diet). This time, I knew I was going to restart the diet, so I got rid of the soda a couple of weeks before starting the diet. I love the carbonation, so I buy the seltzer water or club soda and it satisfies the soda loss. I wasn't so sure about the flavored carbonated water that you can get at Sam's club. Just love it. Says no carbs and no sugar, but after having probs with ketosis...had to let it go due to aspartame, which evidently causes me problems.

          I saw a recipe for the spicy dip that is similar to the blooming onion dip on the recipe page.....

          I don't remember if it was induction friendly, but, I'm going to just stay with basic meat...I'm too lazy to try to figure it all out, I'll just stay safe and eat grilled chicken, roast, hamburgers, etc....I'm 90% carnivore anyway, which is why I always come to atkins when I need help....I can't go without meat
