  • Hello All

Hello, I am new to the sight but not the diet. I have been on the diet once before. The reason I tried it before was because everyone said "You need to do it" Well it didnt work. This time I'm saying that I need to do it so maybe better luck. The biggest problem I have had is variety of foods. I am a meat eater. Plain and simple, but you can just eat so many hamburger steaks and eggs........... I will search and try to find some different recipes for a little variety.

First stop should be to check out the recipe index.. lots of great ideas..

Unlike you, I am not a meat eater.. I love my rice, pasta, sugar ( i could go on and on).....The recipe section has helped me out alot.. also if you ever need moral support, this is the place to be ..

      Re: Hello All

I was in the same boat as you. I started this diet last year, ate eggs for breakfast, burgers for lunch and a steak for dinner--basically every day. Once I fould this site and realized I could eat so much more, it has been amazing so far. Variety is the spice of life!

Here is Linda's site that I have been using almost every day for good recipes. I hope you join some challenges, start a journal, ask questions because it really makes the diet 5 times easier with all of the support from this site.

        Welcome!

If you're a meat-eater, this diet should be a cinch for you.

There are tons of great recipes both in the Food Forums and on the separate recipe web site http://www.lowcarbrecipes.org/

        Good luck to you!

I did Extended Induction from 1/3 to 5/9 (2006) and lost 55 pounds, so I know I can do it again!
