hi guys, I've been lasy lately so decided I need to shed some pounds before I get toned up!!!

Im asian (as in indian) based in the UK, so our diets are a little heavy... too many naan breads, rice, curries lol...

I've been good as of yesterday - drank loads of water, had 3 eggs for breakfast, salad for lunch with some chicken and lamb... then when I got home I had some kebabs (grilled, and a bit of beef)...

Question for you guys, I know I can't have olives, but can I have halipinos and the large pickled chillies??? I love them!!! hehe.

Welcome to the board Fuzed. Its always good to see more uk residents here.

Re your questions. If you look at the following link you will find exactly what you can and cant eat on induction. If its not listed you cant eat it.

With regards to the olives question, I have c and p'ed a quote from the above link.

    Special Category Foods
To add variety, each day you can also eat 10 to 20 olives, half a small avocado, an ounce of sour cream or three ounces of unsweetened heavy cream, as well as two to three tablespoons of lemon juice or lime juice. But be aware that these foods occasionally slow down weight loss in some people, and may need to be avoided in the first two weeks. If you seem to be losing slowly, moderate your intake of these foods.

It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!

I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

            Hi and welcome!

Aren't you glad to discover you CAN have olives? They're one of my favorite foods, so I would be lost without them, I think! And yes, chiles and peppers are quite acceptable too, so you should be quite happy!

Keep up the good work, and don't hesitate to ask questions around here, there's always someone ready with an answer.

            GOOD LUCK!

I did Extended Induction from 1/3 to 5/9 (2006) and lost 55 pounds, so I know I can do it again!
