  • hi!

I have been using the advice on this board for a few days and have learned a lot from ya'll. I hope I have as much success as the people whose pics I have seen.
I was 105 3 years ago and gained weight after I got married and more during pregnancy. I did atkins in '96 but got so sick of eggs. I am hoping I can stick w/it better now since I love to eat!
    well, talk later!

Welcome, there are so many wonderful tasty foods to eat on Atkins...don't make the mistake of getting into a rut with eating only a few foods. That is usually what makes people fail. Make this new journey in your life exciting and a life-style change that you can live on forever!! You'll look great and feel great which will make it easier to plan your meals and stick with the program. Best wishes!!!

          Re: hi!

I feel ya on the eggs. I started on an egg diet and soon became sick of Atkins. Now, I know that there are so many great low-carb meals I can eat, which makes Atkins a better dieting experience.

              Re: hi!

Welcome to the site! Just remember there is so much more to Atkins like has been said than eggs. That is a good thing too because I detest eating them straight (not as in an ingredient in a recipe).

                Re: hi!

Good luck! I've become the egg queen. I am looking for different ways to fix items. I try to precook hamburgs and precut cheese cubes. This helps me when I get really hungry. Hope your journey goes well.
