  • 3 weeks and no wt loss

    I need some help here! PLEASE!!! I previously used this diet to lose about 25-30 lbs. Since then I put weight back on and a lot more. Now I have been back, lost 9-10 lbs first 2 weeks, then NOTHING! I think I have lost inches, but the scales won't budge. I'm getting very frustrated. WHAT IS GOING ON????

    Just be patient.... your body will eventually release those pounds.... it might take time, but if you're working the program and exercising, it will come off!

    If you're losing inches, that's great! The scale is *one* tool that measures how we're doing, it is not the end all and be all answer!

      If you're losing inches, you're still losing. Don't need to be chained to the scale. Why not start measuring? 9-10 pounds in 3 weeks is great. You could post a menu if you really think you're stalled, but a stall is no weight loss and no inches. What are you doing for exercise?

        Hi ems6, take a look at this link, it might help! Weight Loss Is Not Linear!

            Oh...just one more question (today)...I'm testing my urine and getting small amounts of ketones. Is 'small' normal or should I be seeing moderate to large amounts?

              I saw a great quote..

              "having a little ketosis show up is like being a little pregnant"

              You are definitely burning fat, one of the moderators lost over 100 pds and never showed ketosis on those testing strips.
