  • Hi from another new person

    Hello ~

    I started Atkins for the first time this week. I am finishing day 3 today. I am sooo tired! And I am dying for some ice cream or candy or cookies ~ but I am determined NOT to give in! I hope this overwhelming craving goes away.

    Anyway I haven't set up my signature or found a ticker or anything. I just now logged in for the first time and guess I need to figure out how to do all that.

    A little about myself: 33 years old, 5'6", 170 lbs. I gained 30 lbs in the past 2 years.. attributed to stress and I am definitely a comfort eater.

    I'm excited to begin this new way of eating and I hope to see some fabulous results like many of you have.

      Those cravings totally go away but I know exactly how you feel. I am the same way and I ALWAYS feel better for staying strong and not caving. Determination is awesome and will see you through the cravings. Drink lots of water it helps me a ton.

            Another big welcome to the ADBB! I'm in induction, too, and will tell you that these people have been wonderful. Feel free to post your questions. I have done several, and have gotten great results. Sometimes it's better to post questions, even though the info might already be on the site, because it forces someone else to rethink the question as well. I'm sure you'll do great.
            June Goals
            1. Continue with water
            2. Use bike more (3x per week would be nice).
            3. Continue with videos.
            4. Go to the YMCA for water classes.
            5. Build stamina for more walking.


            Goals for May:
            1. Water every day - at least 100 oz.
            2. Walk through Wal Mart instead of ride.
            3. Post every day.
            4. Get the exercise bike out of basement and use it!
            5. Re-read DANDR! It's been too long.
