  • Hi from Ms. Newbie Texas!

Well, to start off I'm 39 years old and have reached my all time highest weight of 268. Like a lot of you I'm thinking 'how in the heck did I allow my weight to get so out of control?" Physically I look and feel horrible. I live in a two story house which is murder on my knees because of all the excess weight I'm hauling around. Shoot, I'm the weight of 2 average sized people!! So, I've decided to do something about it (again) but this time I'm going to succeed in reaching my goal. I'm really looking forward to getting to know you all and I hope we can help each other out on our weightloss journey to better health.

    268/263/135

Hi Cinnamon! I started at the exact same place as you. I had bad knees and stairs were murder for me. My advice is to exercise as much as you can, do the program as Dr. Atkins suggests in his book and never give up. You can do this. I can tell you that it is soooo worth the effort. Don't look back. Past mistakes in diets are behind you. Look ahead at the wonderful new you, energy and positive self esteem!

We are all here for you. Check out all the forums and the issues that are here to help support you as you get healthy and fit. Best wishes!!!
