  • hello!

hello everyone, my name is Mystery and i am interested in the Atkins diet!

    thank you,thank you

i used to be into bodybuilding for about six years from 17-23 , i am now 26 and looking for alternative ways to stay in shape and fit. I have done the Warrior diet for the past few years and now i am looking into how Atkins might benefit me.I am also looking into maybe going onto a Raw Food diet or the Primal Diet as it's called by it's proper name. It's a very similar to paleo-diet or caveman diet, but it focuses more on natural fats, raw meats/eggs/milk and honey as the main dishes

*which sounds really good to me because i really love meat and i have actually been following a sub-raw diet for the past few years anyways (always prefering my steaks really rare)

i'd appretiate any insight on everyones experiances on the Atkins diet as well as any other diet they might have been on, i am looking to find the best diet for me right now and something i can live with. I am enjoying my diet right now but still always curious and looking at what everyone else is doing that may benefit me also!

    thanks again!

    Re: hello!

    Hi mystery,

Well, I can't comment on the other diets you mentioned, but I can tell you that Atkins is the best way of eating for me and many others at ADBB!

Take some time and read through some of the success stories and check out the before and after photos forum. I think they'll provide some of the information you're looking for.

But, to make an informed decision on your way of eating, you'll want to pick up a copy of 2002 Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution and read it. Then you can make an informed decision.

    Take care!
    Shelly
