Hi,
My name is Jack from Holland MA. I'm 47 years old. I have been doing Atkis for about 8 weeks and stumbled upon this bulletin board about 2 weeks ago.
I am and avid Hiker and skiier and generally an outdoors person.
I have found this board to be very inspiring, and look foward to the
motivation I can gain by reading the various topics and threads generated here.
I am 5'6" and started at 215 lbs. I am currently 200lbs. My goal is 175lbs.
I am currently section hiking the Long trail in Vermont, which goes from the MA border to the Canadian border along the spine of the Green Mountains.
I hiked 103.9 miles of it last September and was not in optimal shape at
about 200lbs. I really want to get to goal by late August so I can complete the
168 miles I have left in September and be optimal shape. (my knees would really appreciate it). I am looking foward to doing a "clean induction" and maybe getting signed up for a Boot camp to jump start my program.
