Hi everyone! I am technically "new" to the board, as I attempted Atkins a couple of years ago and quit too soon. This time I've stocked my cupboards, taken away all temptations, and have goals and plans and all kinds of stuff in place so I don't fail.
I am super excited! I have a trip to New York planned at the end of September, and would like to lose about 50 pounds, if possible, before then. Last time I did Atkins was before my wedding and I lost 25 in 6 weeks, so I'm hoping twice that is possible in nearly 5 months. If it's less, I won't be dissapointed, though. Anything is good in my book!
I am realllly feeling the lethargy of the past two days - I am tired, grumpy and have a MAJOR headache today. I know that's just my body doing some sort of detoxing, but man is it rough!
I'm including 5 weekly walks in my "lifestyle change" as well as 4-5 days of yoga in there. I love yoga! I am hoping this will all make me feel stronger.
