    3rd times a charmer (I hope)

    Hi all,
    My Name is June and I live in Florida. I have been on the Atkins diet 2 other times. I lost weight both times and didn't continue with the WOL so I am where I started from plus a few lbs. I started again last week but did not do to good so I am counting this as my first week. I have 4 married kids and lots of g-kids. They say I should look like a g-mom and I say no way. lol Well, I will be here getting tips to keep myself on track.

    It's my fourth go at Atkins, but this time I'm going to do it properly!

    Target date: 3rd August 2007...is this do-able?
    restart date: 21st May 07 175lbs

    NO CHEATING COMMITMENT: 1st goal 4th June - DONE! 2nd goal: 21st June DONE!! Target: 3rd August - Down to 150lbs
    15 Days - no cheating!

      This really is a way of life, isn't it?! But it's a great way of life!

      As for looking like a grandma, heck no!! By being healthy and active, you will be setting such an excellent example for your kids and grandkids. That's so much better!!!

        Welcome Back June. And as far as looking like a Grandmother...NO WAY!

        I will be 48 next month and I have 3 grandchildren...12, 7, and 2. When my daughter (23) comes to Memphis, we always hit all the malls and we shop for the same clothes. She always sends me for BD, X-mas...very cute looking clothes.
        When she had her baby (now 2) I went to New Mexico and we were in JC Penny's and I was holding the baby and several people came up to me and said "your baby is so sweet and tiny"( he was 5lbs). I would just smile...lol
        So No you don't have to look like a granny!!! Go for it and look and feel like your 25.
