Back on Atkins for the last time!!

Hi everyone!

I was on Atkins about a year ago, and I did Induction for 5 weeks faithfully. I lost over 40lbs. I don't know why I ever got off of it, but I did, and gained ALL of the 40lbs back!! So, here I am once again, but this time, I am going to do it and finish it to the end!!! I have a lot to lose, 95+lbs, but I know I can do it! I am starting on June 1, 2006........wish me luck and I know I can always get on here for the best support! This forum is wonderful!!!

Welcome back. I remember you. You did great the first time and I'm sure that you're now re-joining with new determination and the knowledge that this is a life-time commitment to become healthy.

Did you keep a journal the first time? My journal has become my best friend. I write down everything, what I eat, my measurements, my weight, my feelings and everything that is going on in my life. It has helped me to overcome my dependency on food and to make a plan to succeed in not only my weight loss, but in other areas of my life. I'd recommend you keep a journal.

Thank you so much! I remember you as well. It's so glad to be back,and I'm going to do it this time! I recall it being hard for me maybe the first 5 days, then after the two weeks, I had lost my appetite, and I had to force myself to eat. I was always thristy for WATER! Believe it or not, and I am the biggest Pepsi freak!....lol....I will keep everybody posted on my progress. Thanks again! BTW, you look great!!
