hello im new to atkins,looking for a bit of advice please..

  • hello im new to atkins,looking for a bit of advice please..

    Hiya, im new to Atkins ,been on the induction diet for 2 weeks with brilliant results.
    But unfortunatly a had a weekend away, and i gave in to the temptation of the demon drink and all the nice foods that are available when you go away on hoiladay.
    whilst i know its not the end of the world and i am more determind to get back into atkins now,
    I just was wondering, do i just go back to the diet as before or is there anything i need to do different with me breaking the diet .
    i would be most grateful for any advice

    Pippa, just wanted to say welcome - i am new to this board too (just finsihed my 2 weeks today), so i feel i cant give you any real "legal" advice on your question, but i just wanted to welcome you!

      Hi pippa and welcome to ADBB.

      Before answering your questions...

      How many days were you on holiday?
      Had you completed Induction? If so, were you planning on moving into Onging Weight Loss or staying with Induction for awhile longer?

      If it was a short holiday and the 2 week Induction was complete, I'd suggest moving into OWL - here's the forum link.

        Hi Shesky, and thanks for the welcome.
        I was on last day on 2 week induction, but i was planning on staying on induction a little while longer afore going on to the ongoing diet.
        it was just a weekend away, but i gotta admit i never stopped eating, ashamed of myself really.
        so any advice would be great

          Hi Pippa and welcome aboard! Don't be ashamed of falling off the wagon - we've all done it! Just climb back on and continue on the path.

          I'm glad to hear that you've had success on your first two weeks. Please post your losses (weight and measurements) - we love to give you kudos and congratulations!

            Hi Pippa!

            Just wanted to jump on the Welcome Wagon and say hello. I also have to observe how eloquent your writing is... musical, almost.

            Don't sweat the tumble too much. You're back from your trip, and ready to get back in the saddle. If it was me, I would go back and do the 2 weeks induction again just for funsies, and then move along to OWL when you're ready. Best of luck to you. Keep us posted!
