  • Hello there, everyone

    I have been meaning to come here for a very long time. I am currently 100 pounds over my desired weight, and I have sugar cravings all of the time.
    I am very depressed because I hurt all over, especially my feet and legs.
    Many years ago, I did Atkins and was very successful. Somehow through the years, it just went to the wayside.
    I am very scared of trying this diet again, but I know that within a couple of days, I will start to feel better, and hopefully this depression will lift.
    I look forward to all of the support I know I will recieve here, I have much support to give as well.

    First of all , be very welcomed!
    Dont be scared! This Diet or WoE is so easy, and It gives you the desired results if you follow it and understand it!
    The first thing to do is to get the new Book and read it, and start induction, also please read the forum, you will find a lot of info and wonderful people here...

        welcome back!!!

        you said it exactly right - in a couple of days you will feel like you have started to accomplish something, (and also that you'd started sooner!!!) you'll have more energy, less guilt and a whole bunch of new friends on this website.

        Try and get some honest measurements and weigh yourself before you start, and have a look at the induction posts.

            Welcome. We are all very scared and doubtful when we finally made the committment to get serious and healthy. I was petrified. I didn't know if it would work - but I was so impressed by everyone here who said it did.

            Well, now I can tell you from experience that ATKINS works. Do it like it is supposed to be done (the way Dr. Atkins' says to do in his book = Dr. Atkins New diet Revolution - edition 2002). My advice is to make a plan to stay with the program. Do it, take the supplements, water and exercise. And please keep us posted on your progress!! Best wishes!!!
