I now weigh 154pounds (11 stone) but i feel like its really slowing down, and im still on the induction!!!!! Not sure what to do now, as i ideally want to get to 10,5 stone..any suggestions guys??

Hi Sam! You need to move into the next phase - OWL. Read the book and it will tell you exactly how to start adding more carbs to your diet and still lose weight, but a little slower. This will help you to start learning how to make atkins a lifelong way of life.

Yeah I know how that goes! In his book Dr. Atkins says that going through all four phases is critical for keeping the weight off and making atkins a way of life. If you start adding slowly then you can start to see how your body reacts to different carbs like fruits and nuts.

Yes - Tferrell is right - you need to move to OWL in order to see how foods affect you before you have lost all your excess weight.
Dr Atkins told us to lose our last 5-10 pounds in the third stage of Atkins (premaintenance) so you do need to start moving on up now really!

OWL is the main weightloss stage of Atkins where you can both act as the scientist and the guineapig to test whether you will have problems adding any particular foods back.
Some members here found they cannot eat celery, or a combination of some veggies without getting blood sugar problems, and OWL is the process that will help you discover that as well as find out how many carbs you can eat and still lose weight!

REad through some of the OWL forum stickies to see how to get started.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Sam, definitely move into OWL. I've done FAR better in OWL than I did in induction. Plus, I have all kinds of variety in my diet now. I've lost 60 lbs in about 5 months, 4 of those months on OWL eating all kinds of good food. I totally avoid diet sodas, bars, shakes, sugarfree candies and such and get so much enjoyment in finding recipes to replace all of that stuff with healthy atkins friendly alternatives.

I love cheesecake...and any diet where i can have cheesecake...everday...is the diet for me! LOL (my spin on one of the other diet commercials)
