  • Back AGain..

    Hi..The first time I was on ATkins I went from 186lbs to 145lbs in 6 months. I was so happy the first time i put on a pair of size 7 jeans....then I fell pregnant and wouldt you know gained all the weight back...By the time I delivered I weighed 222lbs....most of that gained in the last month...Now Im back at 189lbs and having nursed for 9 months...its time for me to get back on that horse.!!

    Welcome back! We're so happy you've come to join us. The more the merrier!!! Check out the forums and choose some that will help keep you motivated and make lots of friends. Its much easier when you don't have to travel the weight loss journey alone!! Everyone here is great for encouraging you and giving support.

          I weighed Myself on day 2.
          I am at 185lbs...now thats amazing and Im so happy even though today the smell of my sons popcorn was driving me insane...I stayed strong...I hope this flu feeling goes real soon cause its horrendous

            Hi Dee! Welcome aboard!

            The flu will go away, I promise! It usually only lasts a day or two, but is completely worth it. You should feel clearer and more energetic!

            Mmmmmm, popcorn. Every time I walk by a move theater (there are 4 in my neighborhood), I take a deep breathe in, enjoy, and then keep on walking! The smell is all I really want now!

            So, let us know what you're eating, what kind of exercise are you doing, are you drinking enough water!!!!

              Hi..I weighed today and Im at 182lbs...and that fluey feeling is leaving..although Im slower than molasses right now!
              I eat eggs and sausage in the morning.
              Tuna salad with some avocado, cheese for lunch.
              Then steak and salad for dinner.
              I drink Loads of water as Im s till nursing. I thought about the effects on the baby but decided to go for it because hes 9 months and Im ready to wean(hes been biting Me like crazy)
              I snack on cheese and sausage.

                  I see avocado and salad, but what other veggies are you eating? (This seems to be my mantra today - veggies, veggies, veggies!)

                  And exercise? Pushing the baby around in the stroller? Anything? Please!

                      Hi...Ive had spinich. broccoli, cauliflower, onions, green peppers,and a tomatoe ...Im pretty good with the veggies...even before...I just wanted to make sure the baby was getting everything from the milk.
                      Trust Me where I live 'just pushing the stroller" is exercise..I live about 15 minutes from the store...also I salsa dance every day. I tried the Denise Austin workout but that left me bored so dancing allows me to burn along with the 500 calories that im burning just from Nursing
