  • Hello to all

    Hi everybody
I thought I had better introduce myself , seeing as I have been hovering around these boards for the last week . At last I got around to registering and this is my first post. I live in the UK, I have done atkins before , well actually although it was succesful, I didnt follow it through as I should have done , therefore got a little bored as I wasnt adding any different things into the diet , hence i fell off the wagon. Anyway I am back on board, been doing the induction for 1 week today and 8llbs lighter already. I have been out and treated myself to an updated version of the atkins book today , as its a long while since i read the older version, I am sure i will drive you all potty with loads of questions as the week progresses. I just want to say what a fabulous place this is to be, such support, info and inspiration . Many thanks to elizellen too for putting me straight on how to do a post, I am not very pc friendly at the best of times. Hope to chat to you all sometime soon
    Love Kath

            Re: Hello to all

            Hey Guys
Thanks for a great welcome ! I forgot to say my start weight was 200 lbs , I am not sure how much i would like to loose, I think this is because it seems such a big amount right now , and I cant help but wonder how I let myself sneak the weight back on. The last time I did atkins I got to 161 lbs and I felt ok with that but I am sure my proper weight for my height is more around the 140 scale. I do have a problem with the exercise part though, as I am not too mobile at the moment with back problems being an hinderance. I am doing light physio excersize, but this is mainly just little stretches trying to get muscles to work again. I do hope this doesnt mess things up for me too much. Anyway once again thanks for the lovely welcome.
            Love Kath
