My name is Julia.
I am 18 years old, about to be 19 ( in September ).
I'm 5' 9" - 174 cm, and I weight 187 lbs ( 85 kg ).
Here is my history:
When I was little I did a lot of gymnastic and maintained a healthy body, even if my legs ( and hips ) were always a bit bigger than normal. Then I was forced to stop, and I got huge. I started weighting 200 lbs in 2003, and with a normal diet ( those that make one starve ) I lost 44 lbs in one year. I am the queen of will-strenght if you want to know, and I am sure I can do whatever I want, as long as I try it. However, after the first year, I started to feel weak and other problems started coming, without touching on the "evil" inside me, that would come out every once in a while, because I wanted to eat. I quit, and I gained weight, and I am maintaining 187 lbs for 7 months, eating this world and another. HOWEVER, I work in the music business, and I feel in love . Do you know that feeling of "he'll never ever look at me". My self-confidence is so low, that I can't even sit without putting a pillow in front of me so others can't see my big belly and whatever. It's not good to be on stage singing and between songs hearing " but she's kinda fat... " it destroys me and I started to get into depression, that might be one of the worst diseases. So me, being a resposable person, I started looking for an efficient diet that would not only make me loose weight, but also keep it off, and without having bad consequences in my health. I heard about Atkins, and started researching. I have been researching on Atkins diet for a month and something, and I bought the book an hour ago, and I am going to start reading it. However, I wanted to let everyone know, that there's a new person going into your world, and any kind of advice you can give me is quite welcome.
