  • I started today...

Well, Here goes nothing. I started Induction today... and.. I really hope this works. I have soo many people telling me i cant keep to a diet... (i have never tried to diet before, being only 19 years old).. but i cant remember EVER being thin, or... even "normal". I have always been "thick" aka.. overweight... even though i was very active in sports.. but then again.. my eating habits were horrible. Carbo-holic is me.. i love my carbs. But self determination to fit in "normal" close..and to be FIT, and healthy.. and to have engery.. this is my goal. 40-50 lbs... I am going to need alot of support.. because my family seems to think this is just a "faze". But i am very serious. I am ready to take control of my weight!!!! Reading others articles really inspired me!! Id love to here some advice!!! Holla back !

One thing we have here is lots of support to offer you!! We are all working together to make it happen. If you are serious about losing the weight, then you've come to the right place. Two things I'd urge you to do is Read the book, Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution, edition 2002. Make sure you understand what to do and how the plan works. Then, secondly...make a plan to succeed. Plan out your meals (what you'll eat Breakfast, lunch and dinner and snacks). Always be prepared with (emergency foods) in your purse or car. There will be times when you'll be tempted with foods that are not on your woe, so be prepared. Plan your exercise routine. Don't quit. Keep going and come here for lots of support and encouragement. YOU CAN DO THIS. It works. We are all here to cheer you on!

Welcome to ADBB! This is a great place to get all the support you need. And, you'll learn how to do Atkins the way Dr. Atkins meant it to be done. If you do that, you will be healthy, you will feel great, and you will lose a good deal of weight. Good for you for taking your health seriously!!
