    Hello Everyone!

I just started Atkins a few days ago. This is my first go round with this and I'm craving bread big time!! I'm definitely in need of losing close to 30 lbs.

I really hope to succeed on this although sometimes I do wonder how it is you lose weight by eating so much fat...I can say that it has been working though, I jumped on the scale this morning and am down 4 lbs....hopefully it continues!

    My current stats are

    current weight: 151
    goal weight: 120
    height 5'1
    Age 33

Anyway...this board has been a wealth of information and I've enjoyed reading through many of the posts....thank you!

    Sabrina

Hang in there, and keep coming back here. Try to stay full of induction foods (and water) especially at first to get past the cravings. It WILL get easier! To your 4 pound loss so far.

          Re: Introduction

hi , my name is sara, and im in my 2 week of induction. I also craved bread really badddd! A trick i used to get through those 1st few days and when i might think a craving may come on, i eat a tiny tiny peice of a lemon, not enough where it will hurt my success, but just a taste of that tartness, and then pretty much everything doesnt sound appitising at all! i know that must sound stupid to some but it works 4 me!!
