Hi there!!! I started my Induction on July 10th and so far I lost 10 pounds.
I have to be honest that I am not doing this for anyone but myself. I remember stepping on the scales and they read 190. I told myself that I wasn't going to hit 200. Well guess what...2 1/2 years later and the birth of my twin daughters I tipped the scale at my ultimate high of 275. I want to be healthy again and feel better about myself. I know that I cannot change the last few years however, I feel confident that I will be able to change my future for the better!!! I never would have thought about joining this Board however I realize I am going to need a lot of support and advice and I hope that I can return some too!!! I am looking forward to losing weight with all of you!!!!!!

Hey Roxy, way to go on the loss already! The only person you can do this for is yourself. You'll get TONS of support here. Check out the journal chats section, it's like a big family there, and lots of fun. We've got some good challenges going too. There's a 6 Week Exercise challenge that just started. There's a cheat free challenge going on, and many others. Those challenges are really fun and you meet people and get daily support.~Joy

Thanks Joy for the GREAT advice. I'm new and still really clumsy moving around the Board but I'm going to check out the challenges and journal chats you suggested- Thanks again!!!!! By the way- congrats on your weight loss you look great!!!

Joining this board was one of the most important tools I have in losing weight. I frequent the "Before and After" photos for motivation! It also helps to know others are out there who are facing the same battle as you.. Glad you are here!

Congratulations on your weight loss so far...10lbs is really great! And it's only the tip of the iceberg...you'll lose so much more just by sticking to the plan.

Thanks all for the welcome, the support and advice has been great. I joined the cheat free challenge so far 10 days cheat free and on to my 11th and I also joined the ADBB fitness challenge- hope to see you there!!!!
