    So I am new to this forum. Hi! Tomorrow will be day 7! I can already tell a huge difference! I am not hungry as much as I used to be, and I actually have the energy to make myself, and son, dinner! Instead of getting Ramen noodles done, I actually cook! Tonight we had lemon chicken, a salad, sugar free jello...the portion I ate was 1/2 what I used to eat, and I am TOTALLY satisfied!
    ok QUESTIONNNNNNN:
    yesterday I had my little sister over, and oredered pizza for her and her cousin...I asked her to please go get a slice of lemon for my salad and NOT THINKING i ate a bite of the pizza(I was meaning to only eat some of the cheese) I totally was used to my old habbit, but I had only that one bite, and actually didn't even notice until I was done with my salad and noticed the missing bite...Did I totally mess everything up? Do I need to start all over again???

    Welcome to ADBB! You don't need to start over, just get back on track the very next minute. If it was just one bite, it wasn't enough to affect you unless it triggers cravings....and those you'll just have to be strong to get through....and you can do it. As for the lemon for your salad, is that all you used for a dressing? I always have some sort of fat (i.e. salad dressing/olive oil) on my salad. Did the chicken have the skin on? because that would do for the fat requirement.

      No,it did not trigger any cravings at all. After I realized I had a bite I drank a lot of water and took my baby on a walk around the block. Well in the salad I had cheese and a little bit of avacodo. Today I was really craving a fruit smoothie, but I got over that real quick, I am a very controled person, so resisting cravings wont be an issue for me.

        Very good then! Avacados are nutritional powerhouses. The best thing I can tell you is that if you are hungry...then EAT and eat luxuriously! LOL I love that on Atkins, I NEVER go hungry. EVER. I eat like royalty...maybe even better and the fat is just falling off.

            Don't worry about the bite, actually Pizza can be eaten and somewhere on this board is a great recipe for it called Bikergoddess' Pizza or something like that. Check it out.
