I have to admit that I keep feeling like I am not doing something right on Atkins because I am able to enjoy my food, and get full!!!! Last night I did have about 1/4 cup of orange pop, but it was due to being tired of water an being thirsty for it. I eat scrambles eggs (4) with 1/4 cup of cheese and 1/4 shredded ham. I scrambel them in about a T of butter and split them between breakfast and lunch. I have a real bad sweet tooth, so I have an atkins bar for 2 pts mid day. For supper I have my veggies and meat. Last night I had a hamberger with fried onions, LC ketchup, lettuce with mayo, and a diet rootbeer with a splash of cream. I felt like I had just screwed up, but I re read and nothing was listed as not acceptable. Tonight I am planning to cook tacos for my son, and I plan to have the hamburger mixture, lettuce, tomatos, and cheese. This is stuff I would eat if I was not on a diet!! How can this be?? Is there anyone who would be willing to read my food journals for a couple of days and tell me if I am doing this right???. I love my bread, crackers and sweets, but it is amazing how little I miss them when I can freely eat more meat. Any feed back would help me. I do not want to get a week down the road and have gained weight form doing it wrong!!!!. So. . .I am calling on you experts!
