Both myself and my house are in need of restoration. My house needs it since it is 130 years old and I need it..well because 3 years ago I lost 70 pounds on atkins. But then I was diagnosed with breast cancer. When i was told I would have do undergo chemo, I thought ok, I'll lose my hair but I might lose that last ten pounds
. But "noooooooooo" the chemo nurse said,
"you will probably gain, and btw, you need carbs so no more atkins for now"
. So here i am a year and a half out of treatment. Hair is back and the added 60 pounds are still here. In all honesty only 30 pounds is due to chemo the other 30 was from the emotional mess afterwards. After treatment I told my husband i needed a change so we went and sold our california house and bought a old folk victorian in Washington. Began work on it and now I am ready to get to work on myself as well. Wish me luck and nice to meet you all.
