Hi every, my name is Arlene. In the past couple of years I made a decision to go back to school (at 47) to get into the medical field and also quit smoking...double whamee. I packed on the pounds, so now I'm here for support, information anything I can get to help me lose 40 lbs. I started the Atkins on the 5th of this month....so far so good..

Looking forward to this site and the support it offers.

Hi arlene,Welcome to ADBB. I'm glad you are here. You will get so much wonderful support. You might want to add your stats so everyone can see where you are with your journey and it makes it easier for you to keep track. There are so many great boards here to help you succeed. You can do this!!!

Congrats on going back to school. I to started atkins on the 5th. I've been looking around this site sense, and there is a lot of really good info here.
