  • Greetings and salutations, New.

    I am 358 lbs, and today is day seven of induction. No cheats. I feel better noticably upon waking. Decided to get involved here.

    My goal is I95 lbs.

    I'm in it for the long haul....good luck to everyone else.

        Welcome to this forums, and I am glad you decided to join us. We love to "pay it forward" in terms of support, and I think being here was one of my main reasons I was successful. Glad to see you here, and I hope you find this place as supportive as I have.

            Hi Russ. Welcome to the ADBB. I agree with Kent...if I hadn't found the support and motivation here I don't know if I'd have made it this far. Everyone here is very encouraging and wants to see each other succeed. The forums are filled with information on life/health issues, exercise challenges, before/after photos and stories to help you along your journey to health. Be sure to take your measurements as well as record your weight so you can see your body melting as you go.

            Make a plan to work Atkins into your routine so that it becomes a habit. Write out what your goals are as far as exercise and eating. Make a committment to yourself and don't let anything stop you. You can do this. We are all here to help you. If you haven't read the Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution, edition 2002, be sure you do. Dr. Atkins developed a fantastic plan that works. Reading in his own words what to do and how to do it will benefit you greatly. Best wishes!!
