I am Jaime a 29/f i tried atkin's 2 years ago lost a ton of weight but then went off and put it all back on I have been on it again now for three weeks. The scale says i have lost 30 lbs but i am not seeing any results in my clothes or anything. My starting weight was 388. I am really dedicated to Atkin's this time and have even started exercising a little too.

Welcome to the site and welcome back to the diet! Congratulations on your losses so far -- 30 pounds is huge for three weeks worth of work. Seeing results is funny as we are normally the worse judge of difference in ourselves. Take some photos and have someone else view them. They can normally spot things that we don't. Rest assured with 30 pounds or 120 sticks of butter gone, things are changing in your appearance.

Again, I am very glad you joined the site!

Welcome Jaime. Congratulations on a great start. Did you take your measurements as well as record your weight when you started? Seeing the inches melt away is a great motivator. Since you've lost weight previously on the program, did you find out what happened that caused you to quit before? Write out a plan that will keep you motivated this time around so that you don't hit the same bumps in the road. If you have a plan worked out ahead of time, it will help you stay focused.

The ADBB is filled with lots of knowledge, motivation and people who are all working together to get healthy and reach their goals. Visit often to give yourself motivation. Best wishes!! I look forward to reading about your success.
