  • G'day everybody!

    Hi everybody,

this is my stage debut on a forum but I'm looking for moral support to stay with the programme. I've read some posts and think this is a supportive place to be online and look forward to "losing it" in this virtual community.

Yes I'm an Aussie, 43 years young, mother of two, wife of one and cat- a -holic.
Have had great success 4 years ago on Atkins and need to go again and lose about 25kgs.....sorry for those of you who think in lbs: I never did emperial measurements!

    Ciao for now!

Ozzie, from down under! G'day...I absolutely love all things Australian...it's a long story as to why, but my pastor is an aussie...He really is only one notch down from Steve Irwin in temperment...My heart is broken for the bloke. My heart aches for his wife and children, but I must admit that that Bindi Sue is one "together little girl" talking away at her Dad's memorial service...
Oh, sorry, i needed to say that to some one...
Hey you should come check out STAC, second time around club. We have a great community, all about doing it again, and figuring out what went wrong and what we can do better....yep that's me back at it again, learning alot this time, refusing to quit!..Atkins works for me. It's a good fit.

            HI Jess,

thanks for that. I guess many people felt they knew Steve Irwin fom his bigger than real life persona. We don't live anywhere near the Australia Zoo but my kids and I watched the Memorial Service replay on the telly....it was tastefully done.

Thanks for your really supportive reply. I'll check out the STAC, ta.

I'm almost through induction now ( 0ne day remaining!) and have great energy and feel good. Best bit is no carb cravings ruling my waking hours. Bliss eh? Have lost about 4 cm's all over but am not weighing in until induction is done.

            Cheers!

                Re: G'day everybody!

                Hi there,

look, I just read your journal and I want to say you have my support at least. It's tough. You knw all the right things and then you just have to do it. That's where I am again. I'm at 100kgs again ( sorry can't do lbs! ) But 100kgs sounds so scary as a weight, like it's a tonne or something eh? So at least 25 of the brutes have to shift. That's my plan, so come along for the ride.

I'd love to hear that you're losing! The fact that your here reading this means that you are in with a great attitude, kepp going girl!

                Cheers!

My own scales are calling me, but I'm resisting until my first 2 weeks are up.
