  • Hi All! Help - Third week and I still feel bad!

Hi everyone! I'm my third week and cannot tell you what a help this board has been! Dropped 7 pounds quick and then stalled, the board helped me stay focused and check my eatting. Ended up adding water and dropped two more pounds. All the information you provide is such a help! So glad I found all of you!

I'm still waiting on the burst of energy, in fact I still feel alittle weak! Has anyone felt this way? My cravings are gone! I exercise! My diet is right on track (since this board had me checking everything). I cannot figure out why I am still tired? Has anyone felt like this?

Hmm..are you eating just 3 times a day, or more often? I find that I have more energy if I eat lots of smaller meals/snacks throughout the day, rather than a few larger meals. This keeps my metabolism going and I feel more energetic. Usually I try to eat every 3 hours, something small, like string cheese, or a hardboiled egg. And drink lots of water!

Dr Atkins in DANDR says if you feel weak you should be eating more food.

but before you do that are you doing what Jimmie Jo said and taking your vits and minerals? if you use www.fitday you can plug your foods and vits into the siter and it will calculate if you are deficient in any of the RDAs in the reports section.

you'd be surprised how many foolk make poor food choices and are deficient in the micronutrients needed for energy production. just being low in something like potassium can make you feel tired and weak.

moving to OWL and adding back that first rung of an additional 5 net carbs of those yummy healthy induction veggies can go a long way towards making up for those poor choices.

Thanks for the help. I've added some vitamin supplements and more veggies, not sure I was eatting enough. I was feeling bad before I started this WOE so it may have nothing to do with the diet. Appreciate the suggestions.
