  • Not new but been so long....

Hi everyone! It has been a very long time since I have been on this board. I think I remember joining in 2001. Yep, I have fallen off the wagon so many times since then. Well, I have been peaking at all the forums lately and must say that I am impressed. Even though the low carb era has all in a nut shell ended as a popular diet, there are so many still going strong... congrats to you all. I am so excited again to be putting me feet forward and doing this again. I have been really inspired about doing something and would really like to have an awsome bod by next summer...lol!

Anyway, again, just thought that I would drop a few lines and give a shout out to everyone! Later and good luck to all the newbies!!!

Congratulations on coming back. Like Lynne, the truth will always seek you out. It doesn't really matter how many people are doing it if it works for you. Glad to see you here.

Kent, I could not for the life of me remember your name. When I was on here more than a year ago, you were still making great progress and I have to say that when ever I saw your video, it brought me to tears for a good reason though. You and I were doing atkins at the same time and I am so proud of you for your success and sad at the same time because I did not follow thru. In a sense, I felt like a failure but a light bulb went off in my head and I had a revelation. So therefore, you are the reason I have started this journey over again. I really appreciate what you have put into this. Thank you so much and I look forward to speaking with you soon.

Good move, Sally, on deciding to come back and do something good for yourself.

BTW, who says the low carb era is over?

I think it's just a new and improved wave getting started, as the glut of new-fangled quackery (that has come out on the markets in recent years through profiteering merchandisers who will say whatever they think will sell the product on their labels) starts to be identified as an often totally useless waste of money and fades into the background or disappears in favor of healthy, whole foods, proper portion sizes and good exercise as promoted by diets like Atkins'.
