Morning everyone! I wanted to introduce myself and to say that today I start Atkins again. I say again, because I did this years ago with great success. But in the last 10 years I have slowly gained until I hit 198 which was last Jan 1. I started a liquid diet that day because I was determined to not reach 200.
I am 5'1 and should be around 105-120 I assume. Anyway, I lost 30 lbs and then went off the diet. I did ok for a while but now have put back on 14 of the 30. I want it off before Jan 1 and want also to start taking off another 40 to 50 lbs and KEEP it off! I know WHY I gained the 14 back and that was because of my addiction to carbs! I quickly got back into the routine of shoving everything bad into my mouth. No more! I could go the liquid diet route again, and might incorporate it into this diet (it was a high protein, low carb drink), but right now I just cant do that. I want to eat.
I look forward to reading everyone's profiiles and successes here for encouragement.
