Can the body get accustomed to doing Atkins? I asked because this is my third time attempting to do it and the results are less and less and less. I really need that boot camp or lots of advice or else I'm going to fail.
Boot Camp is the best way to get accustomed to this WOE, but then again I could be biased (I'm a recruit right now). It means sticking to the acceptable foods list but it got rid of my cravings. Also, you learn alot about how this diet works and how to make the most of you experience during induction. However, if you just can't do Boot Camp, then join or start a thread where you try to do a clean induction.

Welcome thickgirl. Let me ask do you have a copy of DANDR the 2000 or 2002 edition. If so start with ch. 11 and read that as that tells all the rules of induction. You might also post some menus in the "review my menu forum', as the people are very good at discovering the trouble makers in a menu or just helping tweak the menus.
Also remember that exercise is nonnegotiable, so maybe joining one of the exercise challenges would help motivate you in that dept.
If you have not done so you can check the induction forum for the boot camp enrollment form. Copy and paste it into a PM message and send the message to either Luna Rossa or myself and that will get you on the waiting list for a future camp. We are just finishing up a camp and the next one will be in Jan. as we are not doing one in Dec.
I think it is important to look at what has caused you to fall away from Atkins in the past and be able to confront those situations or feelings or environments head on.
There will always be stresses in life. There will always be social situations, sporting events, birthdays, anniversaries and holidays. The trade off for me is that I can't possibly feel deprived because I've lost so much. Would I trade it for a bag of chips? Nope!! Because I've never stopped with the single bag of chips ... I start eating other things and before long, I've regained the weight back. Decide why you eat and plan your menus. Once the cravings dissipate, it will be easier.
