    Second time around and excited!

    Hi there. My name is Amy, I'm 27, married, and have two boys, ages 2 and 3. This is my second time around with Atkins, lost a decent amount of weight the first time (before having kids) and am starting up again, not necessarily for weight loss (although that would be a good thing too), but more because I know from last time how GREAT I felt while I was doing it. (Tomorrow will be day 5 of induction.) Chasin two little boys born a year apart will sap the energy right out of you...and I need to get that energy and general great feeling I had when I was following the Atkins way of life. So glad to have found this place, and look forward to meeting all of you!

          Hi Chasin, Glad you found us and joined. We've got a Second Time Around Club forum you might be interested in. Start a journal so you can keep track of stuff and join a challenge or two. This is a great board and you'll meet and make lots of new friends.

                  Welcome aboard Chasin2kids! You'll certainly get your energy back... though I know (from personal experience) that kids are always able to sap ALL the energy you have, be it a lot or a little. There's fun in that sapping though!

                  ADBB is a wonderful place for comfort, inspiration and good low carb advice. I'd definitely take a peek in the Second Time Around forum too.
