      Re: I am new here

      Hello,

I am a 26 y/o female too. Pleasure to meet you! I am here to get to a healthy weight. I am 5'2" and weigh 177lbs. My motivation is my DH. He has been supportive and always claims that I am his motivation in life. I want to really show my appreciation by taking care of myself so we can have a healthy journey down the road. My mother passed away from poor health and it's time I wake up from the fog. I also plan to have children and know that I need to be at a healthy weight to decrease the risk of complications with my pregnancy.

I don't have low energy, but my skeletal structure feels the weight of my body fat. I am primarily top heavy and am currently working out. Atkins is not a new system to me. Previously, I was committed, but unfortunately not serious enough to get to my attempted goal. They say that exercise is not required in Atkins, but I disagree. In order to really become healthy exercise doesn't have to be rigorous, but definitely consistent. That is my problem. My issue is keeping up with the exercise routine.

I found the forum to be informative and really supportive. I have 67 lbs to get to and I will be satisfied. I would like to get to 130 lbs by my BIRTHDAY! I will be 27 and want to feel like FREE! This weight is literally bearing great on me!

I officially started yesterday and hope to keep this up! At this rate, the New Year is looking real optimistic! Found my college gym and the hours there work for me. I am excited...and hope that I can be on the journey to getting myself to a size 4 by... let's say by my 1yr Wedding anniversary

      Target Weight is 110 lbs!
Exercise relieves the stress and makes you function better!

So I have been cracking the whip and told myself it is time to get SERIOUS!
      Here's the set regimen:

      MONDAY-THURSDAY

      jog/walk 40 mins x 4days OR treadmill 40mins

      bicycle 12-20 mins X 4days

      Abdominal:

      Bicycle exercise or Crunches 40 + 40 + 40 (Left 40 Center 40 Right 40)

      FRIDAY-RELAX

SATURDAY- LEISURELY EXERCISE ( GALAVANTING OUTDOORS!) OR COLLEGE GYM!

SUNDAY- BIKE RIDING WITH DH AROUND 2.5 MILES (LAKE MERRITT)

No more than 15-20 carbs daily....and lots of Lipton Diet Iced Green Tea

Hi 2heavenly! What do you mean you did induction wrong???? Do you have the book? if not, it truly is a must so that you understand how this process works. Please cruise around the board, particularly in the induction forum so you can not only eat right, but really lose the weight as well!!
