Hi everyone! My name is Andrea. I am from a little town in Michigan. I am going back on Atkins. I started (again) yesterday. I know this is the only diet for me because I absolutly love carbs. Im only 5'2 and weigh 245 lbs. Im pretty mad at myself for letting it get this far. I got married December 29,2005 and put back on the 30 I lost last summer and added another 25 lbs. I have a goal of losing 25-30 lbs by 12/30/2006 but Im alil scared I wont make it. I am doing the Celebrity Fit Club DVD..in the a.m and in the p.m 5 days a week. I hope thats enough working out. If anyone has any advice please help me. Thank you. Im glad I signed up and think this is a step in the right direction.

Re: Trying again!
Hello Andie!
Glad you joined the board--it's a wealth of knowledge, recipes, and advice! Heyyyyy if this is your second time, you should check out the Second Time Aroud Club--it's a bunch of really great people who are back on the wagon again! Probably the friendliest forum around, no joke. Oooh and there are LOTS of exercise challenges to join--you're doing 5x a week, that's great!
So welcome...hey I am also from Michigan...but now officially a resident of Montana for 15 months!
If you have other questions, don't be afraid to post. Sometimes it's a good idea to post a menu so the pros can help you tweak things here and there...and remember to drink your water!

Re: Trying again!
Welcome Andie. Glad to have you join us. This is definitely a step in the right direction! My suggestion would be to read the book thoroughly and make a plan to incorporate the program into your own life-style. We're all scared when we first start, but you have a great support system here to help you. Become active in the forums, challenges and make sure you take measurements as well as recording your weight. Its very exciting to see the inches drop as you move towards your goal! Keep us posted on your progress!!Starting Date 3/12/04 285/165/145 - F

Dedication gives wings to our dreams and keeps them in flight! In One Word...COMMITTMENT.

Re: Trying again!
Welcome aboard, Andrea! Read the book, drink your water, eat your veggies, and exercise your tushie off! You will do great, I just know it! Don't be too obsessed about the scale, it's not your only measurement of success. Take your measurements, everywhere! Pay attention to what dress you are wearing!
Good luck!
