2 years ago I was on atkins for 4 months. I went from 320 to 270. I thought that was good numbers. After that weight loss I hit a major stall and lost faith in the program. I am wiser now and realize that stalls happen and I need to keep pushing. I now weigh 300 lbs. and have a goal weight of 220 lbs. This time I do not have a time frame for the loss and will pursue a healthy way of eating and exercise for as long as it takes.

Re: Trying Atkins for the second and last time
Welcome Rescue, glad you found us and joined.....Check out the Second Time Around Club down below, there are some great "stickies" that will let you know what to expect. I heard that folks to start a WOE before Christmas have a better chance of succeeding than those who wait... Keep coming to visit.

Re: Trying Atkins for the second and last time
Hi, Rescue! I am in my second time too. I did just what you did too. But I did it quite a while ago. I maintained for a long time, but not doing Atkins...of course it didn't stick. I have gained all that I lost. But this time is different for me...I am older and a Little bit wiser and I found this wonderful BB for support. So, welcome back to both of us....let's do it for good...our own good!!!!! Have you started a journal???? I just started one and it has been fun and a great way to connect. Take care.

Have a great lowcarbing birthday
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!
