  • a new start for 2007

    Hi guys I started induction on Nov 25th and doing good so far. My doctor told me to lose 50+ and that is what I'm going to do!!! I'm so glad I found this site because I need all the motivation I can get. good luck to you all!

    Glad you found us here, and welcome! Hope you have read the book. Sounds like you're motivated and ready to go!

        I lost 50+ (60) most of it in 10 months - you can do it too. Good luck and welcome.

        Began Atkins March 04 at 260lb, reduced to 203lb by April 07 and maintained.

        Atkins makes exercise mandatory - I took up cycling - see last pics at 203lb.

            Well for motivation and information you've come to the right place. Since I am posting this on 12/6/06 I am curuious how you are progressing? Remember you don't have to do Induction for only 2 weeks. If you have alot of weight to lose or have difficulty losing weight, you might want to do Induction for quite awhile. (Page 159, DANDR)

              Welcome justme!! Glad you've found us and committed to making it happen. You can do it. Its a matter of setting priorities (health) for yourself and incoorporating it into your unique life-style. This is a very positive site with lots of people who are willing to share your journey!
