    A couple of years ago I tried Atkins and loved it and found it so easy. I lost 5 stone in 6 months, but then we went to Florida/Disney (I live in the UK) and had a carb binging 3 weeks. Once those dreaded carbs were back in my system I was back to cravings and binging and in 18 months later I have put on over 110 lbs!

    At over 300lbs and the largest clothes size you can buy in UK shops I've reached the point where I've got to do something.
    I've got a long way to go but I'm back now

    Highest weight 23/10/2006 317 lbs (22 stone 9 lbs)
    Atkins start weight 28/11/2006 307.5 lbs (21 stone 13.5 lbs)
    CW 296 lbs (21 stone 2 lbs)
    GW 154 lbs (11 stone)
    Lost on Atkins 11.5 lbs
    Total loss 21 lbs
    Try to drink at least 4.5 litres of water a day.

          Hello Sarah and welcome to the board! So glad you decided to re-start your journey to better health and a svelte figure. Everyone here is ultra encouraging and ready to help you if you have queries/problems.
          Why not go and look at the Second Time Around forum. There are plenty of people there who can share the 'why' they fell off the wagon and give you the motivation to avoid some of the pitfalls.
          Hope to see you posting of your losses soonest!
